Конспект урока «Miracle of illusion»

1.Организационный момент (2 мин.) 

Good morning! How are you?

2.Этап мотивации (самоопределения) к учебной деятельности.

Teacher. Look around! Does our class look unusual today? Why? What can you see? We are like in the picture gallery, aren’t we?

Teacher. Have you ever been to the picture gallery? What is unusual in these paintings? Isn’t it a miracle? What is the title of the lesson?

Pupil. The miracle of illusion.

Teacher: That is the title of our lesson. Write it down into your working lists.

 3. Этап актуализации знаний, формулирования темы урока, определения цели и планирования учебных действий

Teacher. And what is the purpose of the lesson? What are we going to do at the lesson?

Pupil. We are going to describe the pictures, interpret and understand them. 

Teacher:  Ok, Our task for today’s lesson will be to Interpret illusion and describe the picture.

Write it down into your working lists. How can we do it?

Pupil. We need to find information in the texts, learn useful words and phrases and describe the picture.

Teacher:  Well, these are our tasks for the lesson. Let’s start with the definition of illusion. Listen to the text and find out. Why do we not always see things as they really are? What can optical illusions teach us?

4.Этап изучения нового материала.

Teacher:   What have you learnt about the illusion? Why do we not always see things as they really are?

Pupil: Because seeing is a complicated process.

Teacher:   What can optical illusions teach us?

Pupil:  There can be more than one way to see things.

 

Teacher. Let’s learn how to interpret the artists idea. Read the grammar rule.

This painting may be oil on canvas. It can/can’t be very old….. It shows ……. In the foreground we can see…… They are looking at each other. They are face to face. Looking into each others eyes.
